SmartCalc is a free, client-side financial calculator application. It runs entirely in your web browser and does not require an account, login, or any personal information to use.

We collect no personal data. Specifically:

• No name, email, phone number, or contact information
• No financial information (your inputs are processed locally in your browser and never sent to any server)
• No account credentials (there is no account system)
• No payment information
• No health data

SmartCalc uses your browser's localStorage to remember which calculator you last used so your preference persists across page refreshes. This data:

• Is stored only on your device, never transmitted
• Contains only the identifier of the last-selected calculator (e.g., "mortgage")
• Can be cleared at any time by clearing your browser's site data

Currency exchange rates: The Currency Converter makes a network request to api.frankfurter.app to fetch current exchange rates. This request does not include any personal data — it is a standard public API call. Please review the Frankfurter privacy policy for their data practices.

No analytics, tracking, or advertising scripts are included in SmartCalc. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any similar tracking technology.

SmartCalc does not use cookies. The only browser storage we use is localStorage, described above. See our Cookie Policy for more details.

SmartCalc does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. Since we collect no personal data from anyone, this service is safe to use for all age groups from a data privacy perspective.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by an updated date at the bottom of this page.
